Professional Sound Engineering and Music Technology Training
About us
Poppyhill School of Recording is owned by Willie Headon, a veteran with over twenty years experience as a musician, professional sound engineer and tutor. From what started out as a small venture fueled by the owner's passion for music and it's associated technologies, Poppyhill School of Recording has become one of the leading lights in Sound and Music Technology education. Since opening it's doors way back in 1991 the school has educated many of the best sound engineers and music producers in Ireland and beyond! Our reputation has spread worldwide and we have enrolled students from countries such as England, Spain, France, Canada, USA and China. We're not a big college offering a hundred different courses. We're not a "jack of all trades, master of none" or a" take your money and run" organisation! We're professionals in this area and have been for a long time so we do what we do and we do it extremely well!
