Aidan Cunningham

Aidan is a former student of Poppyhill and since leaving the safety of our cosy control rooms, he has gone on to engineer literally hundreds of recordings for up and coming bands! Aidan has progressed from being a technical assistant at the school to becoming a fully qualified tutor. He has proven to have a natural talent for teaching and is major asset to the school! Willie Headon

Owner of Poppyhill School of Recording.

Willie has over 20 years experience as a tutor in sound engineering and music technology. Apart from teaching, he has worked extensively as a sound engineer in the recording and live sound industry with many Irish and international artists, bringing a wealth of experience to our training. He is also a Certified Pro Tools Expert and a Certified Pro. in Logic

Michael Richards

When it comes to Apple Logic, Michael is probably the most highly regarded expert in the country! He is an Apple Certified Trainer in Logic Studio and Soundtrack Pro. Also a highly experienced and respected engineer with over 15 years experience, he currently runs his own Trackmix recording studio where he uses Logic Pro as his main recording system. Gav. is our expert tutor.

A graduate of the the School of Sound Recording, Manchester,

Gav. he has extensive teaching experience in sound engineering but his speciality is electronic music production and he’s an “Ableton Certified Trainer” What he doesn’t know about this program is not worth knowing!! Check out our new Ableton workshops here!
